NEW YORK, April 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Chile-Bolivia border region at 22:30:42 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 177.7 km, was initially determined to be at 21.05 degrees south latitude and 68.57 degrees west longitude. ■
